4 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR REAL ESTATE PHOTOS
For real estate photographers, we always want to take perfect pictures for the first time but sometimes that’s impossible. But there are things you can do to produce awesome photos of your properties before sending them to your clients. Using some skills on your picture will save a lot of time and sell them faster.
You don’t need to be a pro photographer to create pro photos. Thanks to every editing tool, average photos can come to life in editing.
Here are some easy ways that add extra to your real estate we recommend. If you can’t do it yourself, you just need to contact Pixflows then let us do the rest.
- Declutter your properties
Your room (your house) doesn’t look neat or display as home as possible when you shoot it because someone is still living in the properties, still having personal items.
You can put away paper, blankets, or clothing, remove all distractions that don’t need to be there.
Buyers need to see a blank picture onto which they can visualize their lives and home, so decluttering properties is a necessary skill to do.
2. The lighting
Lighting is the key to your photos. Making the properties you shoot bright will change what buyers look and feel about your photos. But under circumstances, you hardly get the perfect bright images. So you need to do some “tricks” to make your photos look light: turn the light on, take the photo during the day, use flash,…
But if the photo doesn’t turn out as expected, you can always use the Image Enhancement service from Pixflows to make your photo beautiful.
3. Mastering HDR
HDR (high dynamic range) is a popular effect among photographers as it can inject a richness of color into your images that bring them to life. Many cameras have HDR mode nowadays but if not, shoot several images of the same subject with a different focus and merge them together to balance shadows and highlights.
4. Sky replacement
When you plan to take a picture of a house ( room) on Sunday but the weather is really bad that affects your photos. Or when you can’t capture the beautiful view of the house at sunset. That’s a disadvantage when buyers may want to see this view while considering your photos.
Bring up the shadows and add a splash of color to your skies, to give your viewers an injection of blue-sky or turn it to the beautiful shade of night to pull their interest.
It doesn’t take too much to create great images, especially with real estate. But if you don’t have enough time to edit hundreds of photos, no need to panic as Pixflows will fix it.
